| Which
is the very best car alarm on your website?
|
| |
The new
ASIANWOLF 8000RS Vision Guard Plus is our newest and best car alarm. It
features a true color LCD screen that no other alarm pager has. It also
includes an in-car camera that will snap a photo of anyone tampering
with your car and then sending their image to the LCD screen in real
true color. The LCD remote will page you and will display their image on
the LCD screen. Later options will include an MP3 siren that will allow
you to download music, sound effects, or even your own voice. As for the
other alarms, it's a four way toss up between the Hornet 564T, the
Airwolf 20099, the M-3600 alarm, and the FM 2009 V2.0.
All four car alarms are of the highest quality and packed
full of features. The remote for the M-3600, FM 2009 V2.0, and the
Hornet can vibrate as well as beeps or musical tones to alert you. The
Airwolf alarm only pages you by beeping or musical tones. It does not
vibrate. All four alarms allow you to turn off the car alarm siren with
the remote. That way if the alarm is activated, only the pager will
beep. This is perfect if you don't want your neighbors disturbed or if
you want a chance to surprise a thief by sneaking up behind him with a
friendly baseball bat. All four alarms have anti code hopping features
for more protection. The FM 2009 V2.0, Hornet 564T, and the Air Wolf
20099 alarms have 2 extra channels so that you can power optional
accessories such as power windows, car neon lights, Door pops, etc. The
M-3600 has 3 extra channels. Although all four car alarms
can be installed on manual transmission, the Airwolf alarm incorporates
special safety features specifically designed for manual transmission.
The M-3600 can do everything the three other alarms can do and also has
more features such as anti car-jack etc. Overall, the M-3600 would be
our top choice.

| I
can't make up my mind. Which is the better car alarm? The 8000RS Deluxe,
8000RS Plus, or the fm-2009 2.0? |
| |
Any of
the 3 are good choices. The 8000RS deluxe is similar to the FM-2009 2.0
only that it has a cool LCD screen. The FM 2009 v2.0 comes with 2 LCD
remotes that features a built-in clock that can bet set to automatically
start your car at any time of the day. The 8000RS Plus is the same as
the deluxe model except in comes with a camera that is mounted inside
the car. When an intruder attempts to break into your car, the camera
will snap a picture of him and send his image to your LCD remote in True
color.
|
| Is
the range on the FM 2 way car alarms really what they claim to be?
|
| |
Range
is always based on point to point line of sight. Like any type of
transmitting device that range is most effective in ideal conditions
such as an open area with no obstructions. Range is based on proper
professional installation, placement of the antenna, and point to point
line of sight transmission from Unit to Receiver.
Elements such as buildings, weather ,power lines, terrain, hills,
mountains, will always have an effect on operating range. Asianwolf.com
does not guarantee range as there are many factors that affect working
range. Since this system works on an FM/FSK frequency, its range will
still be much more than today's standard alarm systems.
|
| What
is your best selling car alarm? |
| |
It
would be the FM 2009 V2.0 since customers like the fact that it comes
with 2 paging & vibrating LCD remotes. Its a very good system and should
be installed y a professional alarm shop only.
|
| How
much would installation be for the LCD PAGER REMOTE STARTER CAR ALARMS?
|
| |
Average
installation charges should be between $90 to $200 dollars. A very good
investment since this is a high quality system.
|
| Will
the remote starter work on manual transmission? |
| |
Yes,
you can install the remote starter on manual transmission but you do so
at your own risk. It is done by bypassing a switch at the clutch. No
additional part is needed, and it only takes about 5 minutes for the
installer to do. But please be careful if your car is left in gear and
accidentally remote started, your vehicle can become a self propelled
threat to life and property. ASIANWOLF.COM assumes no responsibility or
liability if you decide to install this alarm on a manual transmission
vehicle. Installing remote starters on manual transmission is dangerous
and some installer will not do it for you. Others may require you to
sign a "release of liability form". Please consult your local installer.
If you have a manual transmission and really want to install a remote
starter on it, we would recommend the Airwolf 20099 as it incorporates
safety features to prevent your car from starting if left in gear. We
also carry the FM 2009 V2.0 in manual transmission as well.

| I'm
having trouble programming the 2-way LCD remote for the Asianwolf 5005.
|
| |
The
following are the steps to program the 5005 remote:
1) Turn the key to the 'on' position.
2) Within 5 seconds, press your valet switch 5 times (you will hear
about 3 chirps).
3) Now press the valet switch 22 times.
4) Press the #2 button on the regular one way remote.
5) Then press the #1 button on the LCD pager remote.
6) Turn the ignition key off and test the remote.
|
| I'm
having trouble figuring out how to plug in the antenna wire on the
Asianwolf 5005. |
| |
There
is a typo in the installation guide of the 5005. Just plug the antenna
wire into the blue port on the alarm cpu, and your're done.
|
| Are
the LCD PAGER REMOTE START CAR ALARMS easy to install by myself?
|
| |
It is a
fact that 99% of our car alarms that are self installed by the customer
is damaged or burnt due to "Lack Of Experience". If this was a basic
car alarm my answer would be yes. However these units are
more complex than your average car alarm and should be installed by a
"PROFESSIONAL". Car Dealers, Auto mechanics, Electricians, Professors of
Engineering, NASA Scientists are not considered professional
alarm
installers. A professional alarm installer is a person who has at least
5 years of installation experience in the following: Auto alarm, remote
starters, window rollup module, keyless entry, starter disable, doorlock
installation, etc. Have your system installed by an alarm shop. Do not
sacrifice quality just to save a few dollars. It's a lot better to pay a
professional to install your system right the first time then to have
headaches in the future. Self installation or installation by a non
certified alarm shop voids all warranties!
|
| My
Shock Sensor does not work? |
| |
Our
car alarms are equipped with an intelligent sensor so that
the shock sensor will not work for 45 seconds after the alarm has been
armed. In easier terms, after arming the alarm, the shock sensor will
not work for 45 seconds. Many customers and inexperienced installers do
not know this and automatically assume that the shock sensor is
defective.
The reason for the 45 second delay is so that the alarm system does not
falsely alarm due to vibrations of the car settling down. Its also so
that optional accessories such as window modules can roll up and fully
closed before arming the sensor.
Other reasons for a non working shock sensor are as follows:
Shock sensor Sensitivity is turned way down.
Shock sensor is plugged into the wrong port on the alarm brain.
Shock sensor wire has become unplugged from the brain.
As always, the alarm should be installed by a professional alarm shop
installer. If you are having problems with your shock sensor, please
have it checked by a legitimate alarm shop. They are the professionals.
Attempting to work on the alarm yourself will always result in a damaged
alarm and will void all warranties.
|
| My
alarm keeps going off for no reason. What can be the problem?
|
| |
When
that happens, most people tend to place blame on the shock sensor or the
alarm.
If it happens right after installation, it’s because extra sensors where
spliced together without placing diodes in between the connections.
Having diodes between sensor connections will help prevent feedbacks
from other sensors thus eliminating false alarms.
Otherwise, it’s always going to be the door pin switch of the car
itself. Water or moisture has seeped into the door pin switch or the
door pin switch is wet or corroded. This usually happens in wet or humid
weather or after it has rain or a recent car wash. Rubber seals on your
doors may have dried out or been damaged allowing water or moisture to
seep in.
Check the door pin switches & rubber seals of each door and replace if
necessary.
Replacing the alarm will make no difference. It is not an alarm problem,
it is a car part problem.
|
| How
do I connect and adjust the dual zone radar sensor? |
| |
Installing the radar sensor and adjusting the sensitivity involves basic
understanding of how car alarms work and the purpose and function of
both a car alarm system and radar proximity sensor. For this reason, a
radar proximity sensor should be installed by an alarm shop
professional. In some cases, the radar sensor is connected to input
wires to the alarm. In most cases, the radar sensor wires are spliced
into the shock sensor wires using diodes to isolate them to prevent
feedback (feedback causes false alarms or prevent the radar sensor from
working properly). The exterior wire of a dual zone radar sensor should
be connected to the pre-warn input wires of the alarm. The interior wire
should be connected to the instant trigger input wire. The dials are
then turn counter-clockwise in the off position. The Exterior dial is
then turned 1/4 clockwise. Then, stand about 15 feet from the vehicle.
Arm the alarm, wait 1 full minute then slowly approach the car until the
sensor activates. Then adjust as desired. After adjustments for the
exterior is complete, follow the same steps for the interior sensor.
After each adjustment, you must stand at least fifteen feet away, arm
the alarm and wait 1 full minute before approaching the car. If you
approach the car before 1 minute, the sensor will not work. The entire
process may take up to 45 minutes to get the settings right. If you are
having difficulties, then please have a professional alarm shop install
and set up the radar sensor for you.
|
| Why
Am I experiencing very short range for my car alarm?
|
| |
The
problem will most likely be the Antenna or Antenna wire. Just like a
garden hose, If a person was to step on the hose, it will reduce the
flow of water. Likewise, If the hose is poorly connected to the facet
then the flow of water will be weak. Check to make sure the Antenna wire
is not pinched or crimped. It may be pinched or crimped somewhere along
the window pillar or under the dash. If the Antenna wire is cut or
damaged, you'll need to buy a new one. Also check at the ends of the
antenna wire. One end plugs into the Antenna and the other end plugs
into the alarm brain. Look at the contacts. There may be factory glue
that has covered the metal contacts preventing a good connection. Clean
with a pencil eraser and plug it firmly back in.
|
| I
did not get a Valet switch. Is it missing from my order?
|
| |
The
valet switch is located on the antenna and also serves a 2nd function as
a call button. Please refer to the manual for call button features.
|
| How
do I know which bypass module to get for my car? |
| |
Just
click on the "Bypass Module Guide" link on the left of this screen. If
you do not see your vehicle or are having trouble finding the correct
bypass module just give us a call during business hours and our sales
staff we be glad to assist you.
|
| Can
you recommend an alarm shop? |
| |
To see
our list of installers please click on the "INSTALLERS" link to your
left.
The best advice I can give you is to have your unit installed by a
professional alarm shop such as "BEST BUY", "CIRCUIT CITY", "AL&ED'S
ELECTRONICS", or your local alarm shop. Just make sure that they are a
reputable shop and that their technicians are certified. We are just
beginning to compile a list of installer throughout the USA.
It's an idea that took a long time for us to finally realize. If you
would like to recommend an installer, please let us know and we will
contact them So that they can be on our list for future reference.
By having affiliates we can refer our customer and better warranty our
products.
It's best to contact your local alarm/stereo shop or Best buy/Circuit
city and ask if they will install this alarm for you. It's best to take
the alarm to them in person and let them see it instead of asking by
phone. If you ask by phone, many alarm shops will say "NO" as they are
worried that what you have is either used or missing parts and they just
don't want the headache. Take it to them, let them see that its a brand
new item.
Let them know that we will warranty our car alarms as long
as they install it.
If they burned the Unit by mistake we will still warranty it. You just
pay shipping/handling charges of $24.99
By letting them know that we will honor any warranty as long as they
install it, many alarm shops will be glad to install this system for
you.
|
| What
other accessories can I add to the car alarms you sell?
|
| |
All of
our accessories are completely compatible with every car alarm we sell.
You can add window rollup modules to rollup your windows, glass sensor
to detect breaking glass (1 glass sensor per car is enough), radar
proximity sensors, led scanners, backup battery sirens, hoodlocks, etc.
If you're unsure about what you need for complete protection, please
give us a call at 1-800-282-1351 and we'd be glad to help you choose
what's best for your system.
|
| Do
you have warranty? What if a car alarm or accessory does not work after
it is installed? Will you replace it? |
| |
There
is a 1 year warranty as long as you have your alarm or accessory
installed within 30 days of purchase providing the item shows no sign of
being dropped, physically damaged or tampered with. If the alarm or
accessory was installed after 30 days, all warranties are void. You must
also provide proof that the alarm or accessory was installed by a
legitimate alarm shop. (An invoice or receipt with phone number will
do.)
You only have to pay shipping charges of $24.99 for alarms. There are no
additional charges for accessories. Turn around time is about 2-3 weeks.
Self installation voids all warranties!
|
| I
want to pay by check or money order. What is your mailing address?
|
| |
Please
send payment to:
Wolfcom Enterprises
5910 W Sunset Blvd.
Hollywood, CA 90028
If you are sending payment by a check, it may take longer to receive
your item because we have to wait for your check to clear with the bank
before we ship anything out.
*Please make sure when sending payment, DO NOT send it certified or we
won't get it! There is always problems with USPS leaving the cards to
pick up items at the post office. If you send your payment certified,
and if no one is here to sign for it, it may take up to 3 weeks to
receive your order. It's a hassle for us to go to the Post Office and
stand in line to pick up a letter.

| Do
your car alarms or other products come in sealed boxes?
|
| |
Our
car alarms are sealed but we open and inspect each box to
insure that all parts are in place.
We incorporate a triple check system with our products. That means that
we not only test your alarm/product and its components, but every part
is counted & inspected by 3 separate employees to insure that your item
is 100%complete and 100% perfectly working.
We do this in order to protect you the consumer and to protect ourselves
as well from “Problem Customers?
In the past we have had many attempts by customers to switch a burned
out alarm, product or remote with ours and then return it claiming it
was defective.
|
| How

|
| |
We ship
most in stock items by UPS ground, although you can get faster shipping
upon request. We'll send you a tracking number as soon as your item is

placing their order.
|
| Are
all your car alarms brand new? |
| |
All of
the car alarms that we sell are brand new and of the
highest quality.
|
| Do
you offer tech support? |
| |
We sell
our products at near wholesale prices to you the Public. Because we pass
our savings to you and have a very small profit margin, we do not
provide tech support. Tech support is provided only to legitimate alarm
shops with a retail location and installation bay. We do however,
provide limited tech support via email. The are some accessories or
products such as window modules, doorlocks, bypass modules, etc. that we
are unable to provide techsupport. Tech support is impossible for such
items as it requires us to be physically present to visually inspect
your wiring. For this reason, please have your system installed by a
professional alarm shop.
|
| I
want to pay with a credit card but I'm worried. How Secure is your site?
|
| |
Everyone has some concern about security on the internet, and if we
weren't absolutely positive that your order can be handled safely, we
wouldn't be providing this service. We use SSL to encrypt our web pages.
SSL is the leading standard for encrypting and transmitting sensitive
data over the web. When you see 'https' rather than 'http' in your
browsers address window, you are exchanging encrypted data with our
server. This will prevent outsiders from obtaining any credit card
information or personal data as it is sent to our servers.
Any information you type in is encrypted (if you are using Netscape or
Internet Explorer look for the solid key (Netscape) or padlock (Internet
Explorer) at the bottom of your browser. This lets you know that you are
operating in a secure environment).
This means you can safely enter your credit card number without fear of
having it intercepted by anyone.
In addition, credit card numbers are stored only on our internal
database which is not connected to the internet and therefore completely
secure. You can also call us at 323-962-1061 and we'll be glad to take
your order over the phone.
|
| Can
I have my item shipped to another address other than my own?
|
| |
Due to
the high risk of credit card fraud, we only ship to the billing address
of that credit card. That means that whereever the bills to your credit
card goes to, that's where we can ship to. Or if you call us by phone,
we can arrange to have your package shipped to the nearest UPS center
anywhere in the USA then when the package arrives, UPS will call you to
come pick it up. Then all you have to do is show two forms of ID at the
security counter, and UPS will release your package to you.
|
| Why
are your the prices of your car alarms so low compared to other
websites? |
| |
The
reason why we are able to sell our alarms at such a low cost is because:
1) We are distributors and importers of some of the items on our site.
We sell to alarm shops, and other resellers.
2) We order products in bulk in order to receive a huge discount from
the manufacturer.
3) Our profit margin is extremely low. We believe in building our
business through volume instead of high prices.
